I am pleased to announce my recent appointment to the Board of Directors of the Crime Writers of Canada as the Regional Representative for Quebec and the Atlantic Region. I look forward to working with the CWC membership of over two hundred talented Canadian crime writers from across the country.
The Board Members, Professional Authors, associates, staff and supporters of the CWC are all dedicated to promoting Canadian crime writing and raise the awareness of Canadian crime and mystery writers with readers, reviewers, librarians, booksellers, and media.
The CWC has a long illustrious history going back to 1982. It is best known for its annual Arthur Ellis Awards for outstanding work in crime and mystery writing. The CWC and its members organize and participate in a variety of events with other writers, publishers, booksellers and librarians. If you are interested to join CWC or to work with us, please contact me for assistance.
If you would like to know more, please visit the website at Crime Writers of Canada. You will learn about the association, the authors, our books, our activities and the scheduled events where you can meet the Canadian authors in your region. You can also support Canadian crime writing yourself by buying our books, reviewing them and referring them to other readers, bookstores and libraries. We all appreciate the support and encouragement!
I hope you are doing well and looking forward to a good summer without too many restrictions as we recover from the pandemic and get back to reading and writing good books.
Take care of yourself and others,
Del Chatterson CWC, Regional Representative, Quebec/Atlantic Provinces (QC-Atlantic) qc-atlantic@crimewriterscanada.com
