Publishing progress report
I’m again reminded that publishing is just as hard to manage to a deadline as writing the novels – too many choices and decisions to be made and too many players required to contribute timely input and effort. C’est la vie, and all part of the fun.
The fourth Dale Hunter Thriller Novel, BAD BOYS IN BOSTON, is getting closer to announcing the launch. The covers and interior designs are nearly complete and ready for printing and distribution. I’m starting to line up all the pre-launch activities – announcements, advertising, marketing on social media, pre-ordering arrangements, and promotional events. More fun, especially for authorpreneurs like me!
You’ll soon be hearing more and I’ll be asking for my MVP early readers and reviewers to take a look at the advance copies before the world sees the final edition. Let me know if you want to be on that list.
Meanwhile, I’ve postponed the final edits for novels #5 and #6 in the Dale Hunter Series – CRASH LANDING and WHATEVER IT TAKES – for their releases in the fall and next spring.
Author events and Crime Writers of Canada are still keeping me busy too. I’m doing a webinar in April and then looking forward to a special event in my home town – The Montreal Mystery Festival – Montréal Mystère – where I’ll be participating as a panel host and moderator.
