In other news:

I’m very happy to report that I recently had a short story accepted for publication at Mystery & Suspense Magazine for the Fall Issue. Called Family First, it’s about a family feud over an inherited business that ends with murder on a fishing trip. You can guess which business family inspired that story – there are lots of choices!

On the theme of reading a lot, writing a lot, and talking to other writers a lot, I’ve been active as the International Rep for Crime Writers of Canada and expanding my network of connections with other writers at ThrillerFest in June in New York and Bouchercon in San Diego in September. Maybe I’ll see you there! I’m participating

Part of the pleasure in making these connections is introducing writers to each other, and to more readers, so let me introduce you to somebody who does all that better than most – Carter Wilson – a best-selling thriller writer and master of networking and coaching on the craft of writing and the business of publishing. Meanwhile, … I have now completed three more novels for publication and am working on other fiction writing, including a collection of short stories, and continuing to write on entrepreneurship, business, leadership and management with articles, commentary and social media posts as your Uncle Ralph.
