Making progress on Dale Hunter #7

In case you’re wondering who’s that wild bearded long-haired guy on Del’s Facebook page … Yes, it’s me. I’m trying to add motivation to my push through the first draft of Dale Hunter novel #7, RIVER OF REVENGE, by not shaving or getting a hair cut until it’s done. Unfortunately, I’m only at Chapter 10 and 19,000 words without a finished outline yet.

The seventh Dale Hunter thriller as my priority writing project was requested by readers, friends and fans like you, so it’s next in the pipeline followed by Volume 2 of THE KID FROM CALIFORNIA Short Story Series. Other projects are slowly brewing on the back burner – a fictional family memoir, Just a Farm Boy from Saskatchewan, and a collection of short stories titled Snapshots from Home. No poetry in the pipeline yet.

However, I’ve also published more articles and posts from Uncle Ralph, my pen name for writing on business, leadership, management, and entrepreneurship at: LearningEntrepreneurship.com. You can see the latest articles of advice on Enlightened Entrepreneurship at:  LearningEntrepreneurship.com/BLOG.

Meanwhile, … for your reading pleasure …

Including WHATEVER IT TAKES & CRASH LANDING, Dale Hunter novels #5 and #6

In WHATEVER IT TAKES Dale Hunter is shocked to discover that his longtime friend and mentor, James McKenzie, is more ruthless, greedy and ambitious than he ever knew, probably crooked, and possibly a murderer.

Nevertheless, Hunter is persuaded to help extricate his friend from the dirty deals he’s made with the dangerous gangsters manipulating local politicians for profit in major construction projects. Instead of running for cover, Hunter gets drawn deeper into the lethal conspiracies and risks suffering the same dire consequences as McKenzie.

In CRASH LANDING Dale Hunter is fighting to save his business from disaster in the rapidly evolving technology world of the 1990s when his business associate, who is also in dire circumstances after a recent business failure and in the middle of a vicious divorce battle, is found dead in his office in an apparent suicide. The police immediately report it as a suspicious death, possibly murder. They discover connections to organised crime and a multitude of potential motives for murder with a widening web of likely suspects––including Dale Hunter. The murder investigation then reveals the victim’s connections to organised crime and it suddenly gets more complicated and more dangerous for Dale Hunter. Who did what? Why? How? And who will die next? The only way out for Hunter is to find the answers to those questions before he becomes the next victim.

Maybe Mystery & Suspense with a touch of romance?   (You won’t find mine here, apparently I’m not good at romance.)
