In this second novel in the series, Dale Hunter is back in business, but so is Gino Boncanno. Hunter has already had to save himself from a murder attempt by the gangster, Boncanno. Dale Hunter is back in business, but so is Gino Boncanno. Hunter is a young entrepreneur running a successful business in Montreal and Boston in the 1980s world of personal computers. He previously escaped disaster and a murder attempt by the gangster, Gino Boncanno. Hunter’s friend, Frank the Fixer, managed to stop Boncanno and put him out of business. Now Boncanno wants revenge.
Dale Hunter is oblivious to the new threats as he gets dragged into a smuggling scheme with Sammy Wong, his business partner in Boston. Wong is threatened by the Triads of Taiwan and forced to meet their demands. Hunter calls on Frank the Fixer again to intervene. Hunter introduces the New York Mafia to extricate Dale and Sammy from the Triads. The complications and threats of violence escalate. Dale has to deal with them all to stay alive and get back to business as usual.
